Hark, friends! Beelite is heading to the Western North Carolina Renaissance Faire and we would love for you to join us for a weekend filled with handmade treasures, entertainment, merriment, and of course plenty of beeswax and honey! The weekend will feature artisans, unique handmade goods, interactive shows, live entertainment, music, games, food, rustic camping, and plenty of Renaissance fun for the whole family.
And among the Faire's artisans, you'll find the Beelite crew!

We’ll be bringing a little piece of our Morganton shop to the Faire with a selection of our 100% pure beeswax candles and handcrafted goods.
Our family has been working with beeswax for generations, and we’re excited to share some of what we make right here in Western North Carolina with Faire visitors.
Stop by our booth to browse, say hello, smell that unmistakable natural beeswax aroma, and find a little treasure to take home.

We're also bringing one of our favorite local offerings to the Faire:
Bring your own clean jar and we'll fill it with our Sourwood Honey for just $9 per pound!
Yep. Bring the jar, and we'll bring the honey.
Your jar will be weighed before filling so you're only paying for the honey that goes inside. Bring a small jar for a taste or a bigger one to stock the pantry.
Sourwood honey is a true Appalachian favorite and something we're especially excited to share at a Western North Carolina event like this.
Please bring a clean, dry container with a secure lid.
🕯️ Pure Beeswax Candles Made in Western North Carolina
Beelite is a family-run beeswax company based in Morganton, North Carolina. We work with pure beeswax to create candles ranging from traditional favorites to detailed molded designs.
At our Faire booth, you'll be able to shop a variety of beeswax candles in person. It's a great chance to see the detail, feel the natural texture of real beeswax, and find something you might not have known you needed until you spotted it on the table. (The Faire has a funny way of doing that.)
Our beeswax candles are naturally beautiful, with the warm golden tones and subtle honey-like aroma that make pure beeswax so special.

The Western North Carolina Renaissance Faire is a weekend celebration bringing together artisans, performers, food, games, music, and old-world fun in the foothills of North Carolina.

Our Story
A Letter from the Owner
In March 2002, my wife and I set out to bring high-quality, all-natural beeswax candles to the public at a fair price. As fourth-generation beekeepers, our family has spent years working with bees and understanding beeswax from its source to its final form.
Over time, Beelite Candles grew beyond finished candles. Today, we also supply beeswax and candle-making materials to makers, small businesses, and hobbyists across the country. From raw beeswax to finished candles, our goal has always remained the same: quality you can trust.
As a family-owned business, we take pride in what we make and in the people we serve. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Our Journey
Two Brands, One Shared Purpose
Beelite Candles and Beeswax Candle Co. began independently, but both were founded with a shared purpose: creating high-quality, all-natural candles using pure beeswax and sustainable materials.
In 2021, Beelite acquired Beeswax Candle Co. and brought its legacy from Lynchburg, Virginia, to our facility in Morganton, North Carolina. The two businesses initially operated side by side before being fully unified under Beelite Inc. in 2025.
Bringing the brands together combines decades of candle-making experience and allows us to serve our customers through one seamless shopping experience. Although the names have come together, our commitment remains unchanged: pure beeswax, dependable craftsmanship, and products made with care.
