This was my favorite candle of the 3 molds I purchased. No problem releasing with the bit of silicone sprayed in the mold first. Maybe will try sometime without that, but not yet. It shrank from the sides well, all on its own. No slits in the mold, but no problem. As a newbee, I didn't know, but reading the description elsewhere, was reassured all was will without them.
Mold worked well. I poured at a temp just above melting as I saw advised a couple of places. Don't know if that was necessary for sure, but got great definition and good release, and this was the first time I've worked with beeswax for candles. The hardest part was just to do it, and Beelite is a big help with the recommended wick sizes on most of the molds. At least it helps with confidence to just get in there and do it. Nice to be able to buy wax labeled from the US, also.
We wanted to make short tapered candles to use for emergency power outages and these molds did the trick. I picked up some of the molds at the NAHBE but my wife wanted more so she could make bigger batches. These molds are easy to use and we are able to make candles pretty quickly. Beelite is a great company to work with!
After using some less expensive wax with disappointment, I found Beelite! Best wax I’ve worked with. Smooth melt and smells great!

I'm new to making candles and I just love this mold. Easy to set up and easy to remove. Will have to get me some more molds in the future.

I enjoy using the dinner candles which gives off a beautiful glow. I usually purchase ivory but with my last purchase I chose both ivory and white and know the white will be just as lovely as the ivory.
I am a beeswax candle maker and have used Beelite wax for years but recently started making some unique and colorful ones and the ivory pearls are perfect!! The blues and purples come out so beautiful!
Nice, thick candles. Packaging was amazing! No damage during shipment,. Only opportunity is the label that sticks to the candle. It left a residue all around, which over time doesn’t matter since I’ll burn it down but would be annoying if the candle was for display purposes.
This is the real deal. I mean, the color is golden, it smells exactly like I opened up a jar of raw, unfiltered honey. I am extremely sensitive to smells, I am allergic to all chemicals and perfumes and artificial smells of that nature. I’ll get migraines, nausea, and hives… I am so excited I finally found real, authentic beeswax, with nothing added! It was so much fun dipping our own candles after melting it down. I will be a loyal customer to Bee Lite Candles from here on out. They even discount if you buy in bulk.
If you’re on the fence about buying this ‘straight from the hive’ beeswax and thinking about a beeswax from Amazon labeled “Pure Beeswax”, let me help you. Amazon does NOT sell pure beeswax, no matter what the label says. Amazon beeswax gives me nausea and headaches, even if it says ‘100% pure’, don’t trust them. They mix it with other waxes and perfumes and toxic chemicals.
You will be a happy customer if you buy from these guys. Shopping was fast and everything in tact upon arrival.
As advertised this is a lovely candle with a unique design. I bought it thinking I was getting a candle mold. My mistake. Still I was save the candle and enjoy looking at it. Maybe one day there will be that special time I want to light it.
This company makes quality products, and I was not disappointed. I received the beeswax promptly and noted the simple but clean and well made product which performed well for my first project. I do think that things would go even better for first-timers if they were to include a small guide to cleaning up the equipment used for melting and stirring the pastilles.

This was my first time making candles, and I did A LOT of researching/shopping around for good quality beeswax. And this did not disappoint. I got two molds from here as well, which were also amazing. The owl candles are their molds. Candle I’m test burning has been burning for about 3 hours so far and is burning so nicely, and the subtle honey scent is AMAZING! Ordering more wax, and molds ASAP

The taper candles were perfect for our Moravian Love Feast. I really appreciated the company for also making the "skirts" for the candles to add the final Moravian touch! We gave them out to folks, too, to take home after we used them for table decorations. I loved burning mine on my dinner table. They smell wonderful!

I love the beeswax tapers. I buy the 8" for the two 3-prong candelabras on my mantle ( they get burned on holidays), and I use the 10" tapers on my dinner table. My husband and I eat by candlelight every night. It is one of the joys of retirement and one of the solaces during the isolation of the Pandemic. The Beeswax Candle Company tapers burn long and well.
