Basic Supplies

• Beeswax
• A pouring pitcher or heat-safe container
• A candle mold or container

To melt the wax, a simple double boiler setup works well, such as placing a pouring pitcher in a pot of heated water.

If You’re Using Rubber or Silicone Molds
Rubber and silicone molds require a few additional tools to get clean results and avoid damaging the mold:

• Mold release spray
• Wicking needle

These help ensure the candle releases properly and the wick can be correctly threaded through the mold.
