Natural Ivory is Changing

A Natural Change in Color Not in Quality

If you've purchased our Natural Ivory Beeswax in the past, you may notice a new option called Natural Cream.

Our newest supply of light-colored beeswax has a warmer, creamier natural tone than the lighter Natural Ivory our customers are accustomed to receiving. Because the difference is noticeable, we don't want to simply mix the two colors together or send you something different than what you're expecting.

Instead, we've separated our remaining inventory so you can choose the color you prefer during this transition.

What Can I Order Right Now?

For a limited time, you'll see two options:

Natural Ivory — Our remaining inventory of the lighter, whiter Natural Ivory you've received in the past.

Natural Cream — Our newer supply, which has a warmer, creamier natural tone.

Our current Natural Ivory inventory is available only while supplies last.

What Happens When Natural Ivory Sells Out?

Once our remaining lighter Natural Ivory inventory has sold out, the Natural Cream option will go away.

The newer, creamier beeswax will then become our standard Natural Ivory moving forward.

So, Natural Ivory is not being renamed Natural Cream permanently. Natural Cream is simply a temporary option that allows us to clearly distinguish between the two colors while both are available.

Why Is the Color Changing?

Beeswax is a natural product, and its color can vary based on floral sources, region, season, and the characteristics of the raw beeswax itself.

Our Natural Ivory beeswax undergoes our fine filtration process to remove much of the naturally occurring pollen and propolis. However, because this is genuine beeswax, filtration does not guarantee an identical color from one supply to the next.

That's part of the beauty and sometimes the unpredictability of working with a truly natural material.

What Does This Mean for Candle Makers?

If you've been using our lighter Natural Ivory and need that particular shade for an existing project, we recommend purchasing what you need while the current inventory is still available.

Once it sells out, future Natural Ivory orders will have the warmer, creamier appearance currently shown as Natural Cream.

If color consistency is important for a large project or production run, we also recommend purchasing enough beeswax from the same inventory at one time.
