Natural Ivory is Transitioning to Natural Cream

A Natural Change in Our Beeswax

As many of our longtime customers know, our Natural Ivory Beeswax has traditionally had a very light, creamy-white appearance. Because beeswax is a natural product, its color can vary from batch to batch—and our newest supply has a warmer, creamier tone than the Natural Ivory you've been accustomed to receiving.

Rather than sending a noticeably different color under the same name, we've chosen to introduce Natural Cream as a new color option.

Natural Ivory & Natural Cream Are Currently Available

For the time being, you'll see both Natural Ivory and Natural Cream available as options on select beeswax products.

We have inventoried our remaining Natural Ivory separately so that customers who prefer the lighter color can continue purchasing it while supplies last.

Once our remaining Natural Ivory inventory has sold out, Natural Cream will become our standard light-colored beeswax option moving forward.

What's the Difference?

Natural Ivory
Our existing inventory with the lighter, whiter appearance our customers are familiar with.

Natural Cream
Our newest beeswax with a naturally warmer, creamier appearance. It is not as white as our previous Natural Ivory but still provides a beautiful, light beeswax color.

The primary difference between the two is color. Natural Cream is still the same high-quality, 100% pure beeswax you expect from Beelite.

Why Did the Color Change?

Beeswax is created by bees—not manufactured to a standardized color.

Its natural appearance can vary depending on the floral sources, region, season, and characteristics of the raw beeswax. Even after filtration, these natural variations can remain.

Our light-colored beeswax undergoes our fine filtration process to remove much of the naturally occurring pollen and propolis, but filtration does not guarantee that every batch will be the exact same shade.

And that's part of the beauty of working with a truly natural product.

What This Means for Candle Makers

If the finished color of your candles is important to your project, please select your beeswax color carefully while both options are available.

Because Natural Ivory is limited to our remaining inventory, we cannot guarantee that it will be available for future orders. If you're working on a project that requires consistency across multiple batches, we recommend purchasing the amount you need while your preferred color is available.

Natural Cream will become our standard light beeswax once Natural Ivory has sold out.
